Czech media praise Vietnamese community’s support in fighting Covid-19
(VOVWORLD) - Czech Republic’s media has praised the Vietnamese community for helping local authority in fighting the Covid-19 epidemic there.

The Czech News Agency CTK on Wednesday quoted Honorary Chairman of the Czech Republic - Vietnam Friendship Association Marcel Winter as saying that the Vietnamese community is the only community in the Czech Republic supporting hospitals, rescue teams and people financially in the fight against the epidemic. He said their actions show they truly consider the European nation as their second home.
Czech Parliament website parliamenlisty.cz on Tuesday posted an article praising the Vietnamese community for making facemasks and donating them for Czech people.
Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis, in a speech on Tuesday, praised people unity in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
Regarding Vietnam’s medical aid package, Acting Minister and Head of the Czech Government Office Tunde Bartha on Wednesday thanked Vietnam’s help in this hard time.
She said: “I am happy to receive the precious gift. It shows the two peoples’ unity and the start of good partnership in the future”
