Da Nang hosts Japan ICT Day 2019
(VOVWORLD) -The central coastal city of Da Nang and the Japanese companies have worked together on digital transformation and attract investment from Japan through the Japan ICT Day, which opened in Da Nang on Tuesday.

Da Nang now has more than 3,800 companies specializing in software, digital content, and IT services, whose total revenue amounted to nearly 700 million USD last year. The city’s 38 universities recruit 3,500 students annually. Le Trung Chinh, Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, said: “I hope that Japanese and Da Nang ICT companies will exchange ideas and contacts to open new opportunities for investment cooperation. Da Nang has welcomed an increasing number of Japanese entrepreneurs, who came to learn about our investment environment and seek to unlock new potential.”
