(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh asked Dak Lak province to seize opportunities, overcome difficulties and strive to become a province with ecological space, identity, and creative connection as a favorite livable destination by 2050.

The Deputy PM addressed a ceremony celebrating the 120th anniversary of the province's founding on Friday evening in Buon Ma Thuot city, Dak Lak province. He said, “Efforts should be made to mobilizing synergy, effectively unlock development potential and advantages, boost growth momentum, and innovate the economic model, while focusing on developing advantageous, large-scale, high-quality, and highly exported agricultural and forestry products."
"It’s necessary to promote agricultural, forestry, and fishery processing and renewable energy production, build a clean, strong, honest, action-oriented political system that serves the people, socio-economic development, and environmental protection, ensure social security and national defense."
At the ceremony, representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented the certificate of recognition of the National Treasure "Collection of Thac Hai rock drill bits" to Dak Lak province.
The National Record Institute announced three national records: Dak Lak is the province with the largest coffee area and output in Vietnam; Lak Lake is the largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam’s Central Highlands region; and Yok Don National Park has the largest area of dipterocarp forest in Vietnam.
