Defence minister attends Beijing Xiangshan Forum, visits China
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese Defence Minister General Ngo Xuan Lich led a high-level military delegation to China to take part in the 8th Beijing Xiangshan Forum between Wednesday and Friday.

Mr. Lich will deliver a keynote speech at the Forum’s first plenary meeting on international security governance.
After the Beijing Xiangshan Forum, the delegation will pay an official visit to China from Friday to Sunday at the invitation of Chinese Defence Minister Senior Lieutenant General Wei Fenghe. Minister Lich will hold talks with the Chinese Defence Minister, meet with leaders of the Central Military Commission, and pay courtesy calls to a number of Party and Government senior officials.
The delegation’s attendance at the Forum reflects Vietnam’s proactive and responsible role in international and regional issues and represents Vietnam’s stance on security and development.
