Defense Minister Phan Van Giang receives Russian counterpart Krivoruchko Aleksei Iurievich
(VOVWORLD) - Minister of National Defense, General Phan Van Giang on Saturday received Russian Deputy Defense Minister Krivoruchko Aleksei Iurievich within the framework of the International Military Sport Festival 2021 (Army Games) in Vietnam.

Minister Giang said that Vietnam always attaches importance to the development of the two countries’ strategic partnership, considering this a top priority in Vietnam’s foreign policy. He also expressed his hope that Russia will continue to support Vietnam with COVID-19 vaccines in the coming time as Vietnam is now experiencing complicated outbreak developments.
Mr. Giang also said that Vietnam has achieved encouraging results at the 2021 Army Games and had a great opportunity to learn from other international teams.
