This is the third phase of a long-term energy cooperation program the two Governments launched in 2013. The program will involve 10 million USD worth of  non-refundable aid from Denmark in the form of technical assistance.

Vietnamese and Danish partners will continue to collaborate in energy planning, integration of renewable energy into the power grid, and efficient use of energy in the industrial sector. Offshore wind energy development will continue to be a key area of the program, which will also help the MoIT build a mechanism to deliver efficient energy solutions to Vietnam's energy-intensive industries.
