At an online conference of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, Deputy PM Dam, who heads the committee, thanked the media for joining forces with the healthcare sector, police, and army. He said the pandemic is under control thanks to sufficient information and in-depth analysis to raise the public awareness on disease prevention and control.

The Deputy PM called on the media to continue keeping the public informed and eliciting their trust in and support for the government policies. He also asked for protective gears to be provided to reporters working in hotspots and media offices to be disinfected regularly.
