Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai directs rescue activities at Lam Dong tunnel collapse
(VOVworld) - Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai arrived at the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on Thursday to direct rescue efforts for workers trapped underground in Da Dang-Dachomo hydropower plant. He called for best rescue workers and modern equipment to speed up the rescue work, adding that all measures must be quick while guaranteeing the trapped workers’ safety.
Deputy Chairman of Lam Dong provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Yen said a boring machine has tried to reach the victims to supply them with clothes and food. The 12 victims, including one woman, are all in good health.
