(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue on Tuesday had a working session with Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop.

The two sides agreed on measures to strengthen bilateral comprehensive partnership in politics, economy, trade, agriculture, education, training, innovative science and technology, tourism, and people exchange. They urged preparation for the upcoming meetings of their leaders in late this year and early next year towards the 45th anniversary of Vietnam-Australia diplomatic relations.
Also on Tuesday, Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue visited Australia’s center of InnovationXchange. The center was the 2015 initiative of Minister Bishop to apply technology and innovation to development projects and programs which Australia operates in the Indian Ocean and Pacific regions.
Deputy PM Hue also visited the Vietnamese Embassy staff in Australia.
