Deputy PM orders close coordination with Britain to identify victims of lorry tragedy

(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh chaired a meeting on Sunday evening with leaders of ministries, sectors, and localities on the incident that saw 39 people died in a lorry in Britian’s Essex county.

Participants included Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and representatives of the Ministries of Public Security, Foreign Affairs, Transports, Defense, Finance, Health, Information and Communications, and the Government Office, among others.

Deputy PM Binh ordered continued close coordination with the British side to identify victims. According to a report at the meeting, a working team of the Ministry of Public Security and another working team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by a Deputy Minister headed to the UK on Saturday and Sunday to work on identifying victims of the Essex lorry tragedy.
