Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung receives Mr. Masaaki Yamada, JBIC's Managing Executive Officer and Global Head of Energy and Natural Resources Finance Group in Hanoi on March 7, 2019

In his address, Mr. Dung praised JBIC’s role in infrastructure and energy development in Vietnam and its active participation in dialogues on policy with Vietnamese Ministries and agencies. The Deputy Prime Minister asked JBIC to expand loans for Vietnamese enterprises. Mr. Masaaki Yamada said JBIC focuses on projects involving technology exchange and encourages Japanese SMEs to expand their business in Vietnam. In the future, the bank will provide more grants for Vietnamese enterprises to realize projects on infrastructure and energy development.
