Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung meets Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte

(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung met with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Wednesday, as part of his visit to the Netherlands to chair the 6th session of the Vietnam-Netherlands intergovernmental committee on climate change adaptation and water management. At the meeting, both leaders applauded achievements in climate change adaptation and sustainable agriculture within the framework of the Vietnam-Netherlands strategic partnership agreement. They pledged to maintain the exchanges of delegations to boost mutual understanding and trust and create favorable conditions for their businesses to enhance cooperation and investment in climate change, water management, agriculture, energy, marine economy, and logistic services. Both sides agreed to focus on cooperation between localities and support each other in regional and international forums. Both leaders reiterated their resolve to deepen bilateral ties.

He met with the Vietnamese Embassy staff and representatives of Vietnamese people in the Netherlands.
