Deputy PM urges uninterrupted circulation of goods and passengers

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh on Wednesday chaired a national online meeting on the circulation of goods and passengers and the restoration of production in industrial zones as Vietnam is safely and flexibly adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The Deputy Prime Minister urged determination to ensure a growth rate of  2.5% in the fourth quarter of 2021, saying localities need to continue to organize meetings with businesses and set up steering committees and groups to address difficulties facing enterprises.

He asked the aviation industry to continue to increase flights on the basis of abiding by pandemic prevention regulations and amending a number of standards and conditions to suit the current requirements. The Deputy PM urged for road and railway routes and strengthened measures to prevent and control the pandemic especially in green areas by promoting the role of local leadership, especially the community COVID monitoring teams.
