(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam held a working session on Friday with leaders of Ho Chi Minh Museum on preparations to mark 50 years since the death of President Ho Chi Minh next year and the 130th anniversary of his birth in 2020.
Mr. Dam acknowledged the efforts by the museum’s leaders and staff over the years, adding that Ho Chi Minh Museum, part of the Ba Dinh cultural and historical relic complex, needs to be upgraded in harmony with the surrounding area.
He asked the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to work with related ministries and agencies to keep the museum orderly, solemn, and clean enough to deserve a place to preserve memories on President Ho Chi Minh, a great leader and a global cultural celebrity.
