Deputy Prime Minister presents helmets to primary school students

(VOVWORLD) -Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh on Sunday attended the opening ceremony of the 2020-2021 school year at Tran Hung Dao Primary School, Ho Chi Minh City, and presented helmets to pupils there.

At the ceremony attended by more than 1,700 students, the Deputy Prime Minister extended his best wishes to generations of teachers, managers, and all pupils of the school. He expressed his hope that the teachers will continue to enhance the quality of teaching and learning so that Tran Hung Dao School is always a bright spot for primary education in Ho Chi Minh City. The school has been awarded the Second Class Labor Order by the President.

On behalf of the Prime Minister and the National Traffic Safety Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Binh launched the Month of Traffic Safety for students going to school and giving helmets to nearly two million 1st graders in the 2020-2021 school year all over Vietnam.
