(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has urged relevant ministries, agencies and localities to ensure that agricultural skills offered in training curricula in different regions are in line with the national rural development program and local plans on agricultural development and restructuring. Speaking at a meeting on Friday, Mr. Dam, who is also Head of the Central Steering Committee for Rural Vocational Training Program until 2020, urged the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs to finalise a draft decision of the Prime Minister on vocational training, adding that priority should be given to social beneficiaries, especially those living near or under the poverty line, ethnic minority people, people with disabilities, fishermen and those having their farm land revoked for other use.
