(VOVworld) – A conference on ways to remove obstacles to rice and fisheries production and consumption in the Mekong River delta was held in Can Tho city on Friday. Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh highlighted 6 short-term solutions. These included the continued implementation of existing policies, fine-tuning policies concerning agricultural production, market expansion, credit support for agricultural production, and disease control. Deputy Prime Minister Ninh also touched upon measures to protect against the imposition of unreasonable duties on Vietnamese agricultural and aqua-products.
