(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh worked with leaders of Ho Chi Minh city on Friday on the implementation of socio-economic and cultural tasks between 2011 and 2013 and plans towards 2015.

The city’s GDP during the 2011-2013 period increased by an average of 9.5% and its economic growth was 1.8 times higher than that of the country. Deputy Prime Minister Ninh said that as the country’s major economic and cultural hub, Ho Chi Minh city should exert greater efforts to achieve the targets set for 2015.
