Diplomacy sector urged to adhere to foreign policy set by 13th Party Congress
(VOVWORLD) - The diplomacy sector must adhere to the Government’s priorities and foreign policy put forward by the 13th National Party Congress, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son said at a Monday conference to review the Ministry’s performance in the first half of 2021 and map out plans for the remaining months.

Minister Son said the diplomacy sector must focus on both bilateral and multilateral diplomacy, and enhance the effectiveness of international economic integration, economic and cultural diplomacy, provision of information for external services, and border and overseas Vietnamese affairs.
The Ministry also needs to foster better coordination between State, Party, National Assembly diplomacy, and people-to-people diplomacy, he added.
