Disadvantaged and ethnic people receive Tet gifts

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh visited and presented Tet gifts to social policy beneficiaries, disadvantaged workers, and others badly affected by COVID-19 in Hai Duong province on Tuesday.

He praised the provincial  administration’s efforts to support the families of war invalids and martyrs and other national contributors during this difficult year. Mr. Thanh called for continued support for disadvantaged families as the Lunar New Year approaches.

The same day, thousands of poor, ethnic households in the border districts of Bu Gia Map and Bu Dop in Binh Phuoc province attended an early Tet celebration program, an annual event held by the district’s Public Mobilization Committee in collaboration with Economic-Defense Unit 778.  

The administration of Tu Mo Rong district in Kon Tum province and the Ngọc Linh Kon Tum Gingseng Company have delivered Tet gifts to ethnic people in six communes.
