Mr. Hue said the event offered an opportunity to review how rural areas have developed and to seek solutions to help extremely disadvantaged hamlets.

Lessons learned from the drive on building new-style rural areas will be an important foundation for the government to improve mechanisms and policies, especially to combine national target programs and other resources to increase investment in extremely difficult hamlets.

The Deputy PM called localities’ attention to upholding the role of communities in building new rural areas and expanding production models to help locals have stable means of subsistence and increase their income.
