Eastern Europe - lucrative market for Vietnamese exporters
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Hoang Quoc Vuong has underlined tremendous opportunities for boosting trade between Vietnam and Eastern Europe.

At the Vietnam-Eastern European Trade Forum on Wednesday in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Vuong said Eastern Europe is an important traditional market for Vietnam.
The two sides have created a solid legal framework for bilateral co-operation. New generation FTAs between Vietnam and the EU and the Eurasian Economic Union will boost key Vietnamese exports such as seafood, vegetables, fresh and processed fruits, electronics, electronic components, textiles, and footwear.
Nguyen Khanh Ngoc, Deputy Director of the European and American Market Department, said Eastern European markets offer great potential to Vietnamese exporters. She urged exporters of rice, seafood, and tea to focus on improving their product quality and carrying out promotions to penetrate these markets.
