(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Committee for Ethnic Affairs defined its tasks of fine-tuning policies and laws to ensure equality, respect, and solidarity between ethnic groups and boost the development of ethnic-inhabited areas and human resources in ethnic communities.

Speaking at a workshop jointly held by the Committee for Ethnic Affairs and the UNDP in Hanoi on Wednesday, Son said he believes that thanks to the special attention of the Vietnamese Party and State and the support of UNDP, other donors, and international community, Vietnam’s solutions to ethnic issues will achieve results, creating a foundation for realizing sustainable development goals and contributing to socio-economic development of ethnic groups.

At the workshop, UNDP announced its global 2016 human development report entitled “Human Development for Everyone.”
