(VOVworld) - 9 European and 14 Vietnamese films are being screened at the on-going fourth Vietnamese-European documentary film festival in Vietnam. The films this year’s festival feature issues related to society, environment, portraits, architecture, and war memoirs. The festival is held in Hanoi from June 8-17 and in Danang City from June 15-24. Another new aspect of this year’s festival is a young film-maker’s day which will provide a platform for young Vietnamese documentary film makers. Director of the National Studio for Documentary and Scientific film, Pham Thi Tuyet said: "The Vietnamese-European documentary film festival has attracted a huge number of audiences of all ages. I hope that in the future, documentary films will become more popular among Vietnamese audience."
