(VOVworld)-National Assembly Chairman Ngueyn Sinh Hung has praised exemplary framers for their contribution to national economic restructuring at a meeting in Hanoi on Friday.

The event gathered more than 300 farmers representing 4 million framers with high productivity and good business performance. The number of farming households with over 200 million dong of annual income has tripled over the last 5 years. Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung urged the Vietnam Framers’ Association to promote movements in raising framers’ income: “The delegates represent million of excellent farmers nationwide who have succeeded in poverty reduction and overcoming difficulties for a proper life. The Party always considers farmers a key force in revolution for national liberation as well as industrialization and socialism building.”
