Exhibitions promote Vietnam’s supporting industry

(VOVWORLD) - The 11th International Exhibition Technology for Manufacturing Industrial Parts in Vietnam and the 8th Vietnam - Japan Supporting Industry Exhibition opened in Hanoi on Wednesday. 
Exhibitions promote Vietnam’s supporting industry - ảnh 1The two exhibitions take place from August 14-16, at ICE - Hanoi International Center for Exhibition, No.91 Tran Hung Dao Street, Hanoi. 

Sponsored by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE), the two exhibitions feature state-of-the-art technology and machinery, comprehensive business solutions, and new business opportunities for Vietnam’s small and medium-sized enterprises in the supporting industry.

Hironobu Kitagawa, JETRO chief representative in Hanoi, said: “Japanese investors have shown growing interest in Vietnam in recent years. According to JETRO’s annual survey, 70% of surveyed Japanese investors in Vietnam want to expand their business operations, the highest figure recorded among ASEAN countries. This shows Japanese investors’ appreciation of Vietnam for its favorable business climate and effective production model.”

At the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai noted the progress made by Vietnam’s supporting industry in recent years. He said: “The progress is attributed to efforts on behalf of Vietnam’s supporting industry and Japan’s strong investment. The two exhibitions will help Vietnamese firms improve their production capability and expand international partnership.”
