(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s agro-forestry and fishery exports has reached nearly 1.1 billion USD in the first 5 months of the year, an increase of 10.1 percent compared to the same period last year.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, many agro-forestry and fishery items increased in terms of quality and values with export revenue of coffee at 1.8 billion USD and seafood at 2.3 billion USD. However, it also cost 6.5 billion USD to import fertilizer, pesticide and materials for production in the past 5 months.
