External Information Service Awards encourage creative dissemination of beautiful Vietnam

Co-organized by the Steering Committee for External Information Service, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education, and the Vietnam News Agency, the Awards honor outstanding authors, works, and publications in the field of external information service and help popularize Vietnam’s development achievements.

After eight successful editions, the Awards have affirmed their prestige and quality while creating a space for creativity for Vietnamese and foreigners working in the external information service. The Awards have attracted a large number of authors and groups of authors who are overseas Vietnamese and foreigners, many of whom have won top prizes for their works.

Vice Chairman of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Information and Education and Vice Chairman of the Steering Committee for External Information Service, Le Hai Binh said, “This year we care more about how foreign news agencies are writing about Vietnam and focus more on creativity, initiatives, and any ideas that make Vietnam more beautiful and widely spread the image of Vietnam. This trend has been going on for the past few years, but this year we aim to attract more participants.”

The Awards are open to works in Vietnamese and foreign languages in the categories of print newspaper in Vietnamese, electronic newspaper, website in Vietnamese, print newspaper in foreign languages, electronic newspaper, website in foreign languages, radio broadcasting, television broadcasting, photos, books, video clips, and initiatives, products with external information values that are posted on mass media outlets or published, distributed, announced, or used in Vietnam or other countries from July 1, 2022 through June 30, 2023.

The organizers will accept entries from now until July 31.
