Speaking at a meeting with foreign investors on Saturday in Hanoi, the PM said Vietnam respects and protects the legitimate rights and interests of investors and ensures the harmonization of interests between the State, investors and employees in the enterprise. He emphasized that trust, sincerity and responsibility are the decisive factors and the key to the successful cooperation between the two sides.

“The global and regional situation continues to evolve rapidly, complicatedly and unpredictably, affecting many economic, political and social fields, especially foreign investment activities. The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)’s plan to apply a global minimum tax from 2024 will greatly affect foreign investment and foreign investment attraction of countries in the region."
"To adapt flexibly and effectively, we first need to have trust, sharing, listening, understanding and companionship, clearly identifying bottlenecks, difficulties, obstacles, and opportunities. From that basis specific tasks and solutions will be set out to continue improving the efficiency of foreign investment in Vietnam,” Mr. Chinh said.
