(VOVworld) – Federal Reserve (FED) Chairwoman Janet Yellen said Friday that the central bank would “probably” raise interest rates in the coming months.

The move came as America’s economy is on its way of recovery but has not yet breakthrough. Yellen expressed her hope that the US’s economy growth and labor market will be continuously improved while FED’s concerns over the global economy have been reduced.

FED’s top offcials will hold a two-day meeting in the middle of June to discuss the possibility of interest rates adjustment.
