Another highlight was a mid-autumn lantern parade by guest art troupes and an art show featuring national cultural heritages. The Tay and Dao ethnic artisans demonstrated traditional weaving and embroidery and make patterns from bee wax on cloth. Pieces of traditional ceremonies such as weddings and maturity rituals were performed.

On this occasion, Truong Thi Mai, head of the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission and Chau Van Lam, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Party Committee, presented 50 gift sets to disadvantaged children with good academic records.

The first Thanh Tuyen Festival was held in 2014, setting records for the biggest mid-autumn lantern and the biggest mid-autumn fruit tray.
