Finland helps Vietnam create “carbon neutral municipalities” model
(VOVWORLD) - Finland has pledged to help Vietnam create a carbon neutral municipalities model, under a memorandum of understanding signed in Hanoi on Monday.

At the signing ceremony Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Vo Tuan Nhan said the project will be piloted in Da Nang and Can Tho to promote the development of eco-friendly, smart cities.
The MoU will create favorable conditions for bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Finland in education, training, technology research. Vietnam’s educational system in particular will widen its cooperation with Finish institutes.
