Nghi said that Vietnam has implemented many policies and specific measures to ensure citizens’ rights to religious and beliefs freedom. This has created an enriched and vivid religious life in Vietnam. Vietnam and the US have held straightforward and constructive dialogues on many issues, including religious freedom. Vietnam always welcomes US Congress members and politicians to visit Vietnam and gain more understanding and an objective view on Vietnam, including religious freedom and beliefs. Unfortunately, although recognizing Vietnam’s progress in ensuring religious freedom, the report still has unobjective comments based on incorrect information. The US’ objective and correct view on Vietnam and its freedom of religion and beliefs will positively contribute to the development of bilateral relations for mutual interests and aspirations
