Folklore festival of Truong Son-Central Highlands ethnic groups concludes
(VOVWORLD) - The 3rd Folk Performing Arts and Cultural Festival of Ethnic Groups in the Truong Son Range-Central Highlands concluded on Sunday in Kon Plong district, Kon Tum province.

The 4-day festival saw more than 700 artists performing 100 performances and introducing 19 typical set of traditional costumes of local ethnic groups.
The performances of stories and customs featured the typical beliefs of each participating ethnic group, while ensuring their originality. For the first time, ethnic groups brought to the Festival some musical instruments that once were prohibited by customs.
The organizing board awarded prizes to individuals and organizations for their excellent performance at the contests of costumes, folk art performance, folk singing, dance, and musical instruments.
