(VOVworld) - The Forbes Vietnam Magazine announced on Monday a list of 30 outstanding figures under the age of 30 in various fields.

The “30 under 30” list was first drawn up in 2015 to boost the entrepreneurial spirit and desire for success among young people, said Nguyen Bao Hoang, chairman of Interactive Media, the commercial representative for Forbes Vietnam.

Hoang said it also aims to honor the young talents who have wide influence in fields such as business, tech start-ups, science, social work, art, music, entertainment, and sports.

Nguyen Lan Anh, Editorial secretary of Forbes Vietnam, said more and more young people start businesses in the field of technology and they use the internet as a tool to deliver their services.

This year’s notable figures include Nguyen Thanh Ngu – CEO of the Thanh Thanh Cong Tay Ninh Sugar Joint Stock Company; Nguyen Hai Ninh – founder and CEO of the Coffee House chain; and tennis player Ly Hoang Nam.
