The Embassy of Finland and ActionAid Vietnam will co-organize a workshop on Afforestation and Timber Trade on Friday. They, together with the Hanoi People’s Committee, will plant 100 trees on Saturday. The 100 green trees represent Finland's 100 years of independence, long-term friendship between Vietnam and Finland, and sustainable green cities. A ceremony will be held in Hanoi on Sunday to launch a system to monitor forest resource and improve forest management.
