(VOVworld) – The Belgian Embassy in Hanoi has awarded Belgium’s honorary royal medal, first class, to former Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium Pham Sanh Chau for his contributions to developing Vietnam-Belgium bilateral ties during his tenure in Belgium. At a ceremony in Hanoi on Tuesday, Belgian Ambassador Bruno Angelet hailed Chau’s efforts to promote Vietnam-Belgium ties in politics, economics, culture, education, and community work. Chau expressed his belief that Vietnam-Belgium multifaceted cooperation will grow and contribute to peace, prosperity, and cooperation around the world.
