Nguyen Duc Kien,  Vice Head of the NA’s Economic Committee

Organized by the National Assembly Office, the forum will provide NA agencies with updated information on  Vietnam’s socio-economic situation in 2019 and the impacts of various trade agreements as well as  forecasts and recommendations regarding Vietnam’s growth. Forum participants stressed the importance of overcoming obstacles to Vietnam’s development to ensuring sustainable economic growth. Nguyen Duc Kien, Vice Head of the NA’s Economic Committee, said: “Vietnam’s economic situation in the first nine months has been positive but we need to find the key to achieve a growth rate of 6.8 to 6.9% this year and why public investment has not yet delivered the desired growth.”
