France halts ratification of extradition treaty with Hong Kong
(VOVWORLD) - France, following Germany, said it is halting ratification of an extradition treaty with Hong Kong, while the EU expressed concern over Hong Kong’s suspension of elections.

A spokesperson for the Chinese delegation to the EU said Tuesday that foreign organizations have no right nor reason to interfere in Hong Kong’s election, calling it Hong Kong’s internal affair. The Chinese Foreign Ministry said it condemns France’s decision to stop ratification of the extradition treaty.
