(VOVWORLD) - Ha Long Bay and other popular destinations in Quang Ninh province will be open free to visitors from now until the end of this year.

Quang Ninh authority will exempt ticket prices and fees at tourist sites and sightseeing tours in Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh Museum in Ha Long City, and Yen Tu Historic and Scenic Area in Uong Bi City for tourism-related agencies, individuals and organizations.
The decision was made at the provincial People's Council’s meeting on Friday.
It is expected that in the second half of this year, Quang Ninh will continue to attract domestic tourists, strongly help businesses recover, create jobs for workers, and restart services in the locality as the epidemic is under control.
Quang Ninh is expected to receive more than 1 million visitors to Ha Long Bay from now until the year end.
