The championship has been held for the past 4 years by the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) and the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and for the first time it takes place in a Central Highlands province.

Tran Minh Hung, VOV Vice President pledged the national tournament will be a success. He said, “With the highest sense of ambition and responsibility, the Voice of Vietnam, the Vietnam Football Federation, and the People's Committee of Dak Lak province will make efforts to successfully organize the Futsal HDbank National Cup to live up to fans’ expectation and develop the futsal practice and competition at local level.”

The final round of the tournament comprises 8 strongest teams of Vietnam, including: Thai Son Nam, Thai Son Bac, Sahako, Sannatech Khanh Hoa, Kadichain Saigon FC, host Hung Gia Khang Dak Lak, and two teams that passed the qualifiers namely Cao Bang and Quang Nam. The tournament will close on Thursday.
