Party chief urges cadres, Party members to inspire public at key moment
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary To Lam on Thursday called on authorities at all levels to act as sources of inspiration, saying Vietnam is at a historic moment to achieve new breakthroughs in national development.

Mr. Lam was speaking at a program in Hanoi to honor outstanding individuals and collectives nationwide for their efforts in 2025 to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s example. The program highlighted Vietnam’s aspiration to build a prosperous, happy nation in the new era.
The Party leader called on the entire Party and political system to ensure the effective operation of the new two-tier local government model, and to pay closer attention to people’s livelihoods, particularly those in vulnerable circumstances, so that no one is left behind.

“Every cadre and Party member, especially those in leadership positions, must lead by example through specific actions and clear results. We need to truly inspire and spark the desire to contribute in every community, locality, and agency,” Mr. Lam said.
He called on every Vietnamese citizen to advance with self-reliance and resilience, and actively contribute to national development. “Role models in studying and following Uncle Ho’s example should continue to spread those values and do even more to help realize President Ho Chi Minh’s long-held aspirations.”
The program was organized by the Party Central Committee's Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilization.
