(VOVworld) - An international conference took place in Geneva, Switzerland, on Tuesday to discuss disputes in the East Sea and enforcement of the Permanent Court of Arbitration’s ruling in the Philippines’s lawsuit against China’s east Sea claims.

The conference brought together experts in law and international affairs from universities and research institutes in the US, the UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, and Australia.  Geneva, a center of diplomatic, political, and NGO activities, was chosen as the venue to draw attention to East Sea issues, which are fraught with surprising developments and rising political and military tensions.
