The paper highlighted measures Vietnam has taken, including quarantine, urging people to wear face masks, nationwide social distancing, and suspending non-essential services.

It said Vietnam’s success so far is attributable to the involvement of all the people through mass campaigns including SMS and communication.

The Government has developed an app for the people to declare their health status and has dealt strictly with fake news on COVID-19, the paper said, adding that the army has been mobilized in the fight against the epidemic.
