(VOVWORLD) -The digital world is honoring this week one of VN’s most typical dishes: Pho—hot beef or chicken noodle soup.
On Sunday, Pho appeared on Google’s search homepage in nearly 20 countries, including the US, the UK, France, and Canada.
According to Google, through its vivid Doodle animation format, it wanted to celebrate VN’s cultural values and spread them to an international public.
Hanoi artist Lucia Pham’s Pho Doodle shows a pipping bowl of Pho being served. Thinly sliced beef, fresh herbs, and onion rings are used to top a bowl of soft rice noodles; then savory hot broth is added to make an aromatic and delicious soup.
In 2018, December 12 was named the official day to celebrate Vietnamese pho.
