(VOVworld) – The National Steering Committee for Rapid and Sustainable Poverty Reduction convened in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh said policies to support poor households should be reviewed to expand their scope and scale. The Prime Minister has approved a master plan on shifting from one-dimensional to a multi-dimensional approach to poverty measurement for the 2016-2020 period. Deputy Prime Minister Ninh asked relevant ministries to finalize the plan’s financial balance and its social impacts to the Government for consideration.
