Green Economy Forum and Exhibition to be held in Vietnam in November
(VOVWORLD) -The Green Economy Forum and Exhibition (GEFE 2022) is scheduled to take place in HCM City in November, with conferences, exhibitions, and dialogues, the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) announced on Tuesday.
GEFE 2022 aims to help Vietnam fulfill the commitments it made at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in the UK last year, and its socio-economic development targets set in the national strategy on green growth for 2021-2030.
The event is expected to enhance cooperation between European and Vietnamese business communities and promote a sustainable, green Vietnamese economy through initiatives, expertise sharing, and technology transfer.
GEFE 2022 will entail panel discussions and seminars on energy and green financing on day one, waste treatment and sustainable development on day two, and innovation and entrepreneurship on day three.
