In the message, Vietnamese Party and State leaders and people congratulated the Chinese Party, State and people noting that the foundation of the Communist Party of China marked a milestone in China’s revolutionary cause. Particularly, since the 18^th Congress of the Communist Party of China and under the leadership of the Communist party of China and Party General Secretary Xi Jinping, Chinese people have fulfilled the goals of the first 100 years of building a wealthy society to lay a firm foundation to achieve the goals for the next 100 years of becoming a modern socialist power that is rich, strong, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful in the middle of 21st century.

Party and State leaders and people of Vietnam are overjoyed with the development of bilateral ties between the two Parties and countries and will continue to work with the Chinese Party, State and people to persistently follow the “16-word motto” and “four-good spirit” to boost the Vietnam-China friendship neighborliness, and comprehensive strategic partnership.

On the occasion, Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong sent a congratulatory message to Chinese Party General Secretary and President Xi Jinping. In the message, Mr. Trong expressed his belief that China will soon become a modern socialist power that is rich, strong, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful in the middle of 21st century. He urged the two countries to effectively implement signed agreements to raise bilateral ties to a new height to meeting long-term, fundamental interests of the two Parties, countries, and peoples.
