At a meeting on Sunday with voters in Hai Phong city, the Prime Minister hailed the city’s high economic growth urging it to focus on the marine economy, high-tech, and tourism which he said are the three main pillar of Hai Phong's economy. He said it’s important to exploit local potential and advantages to make Hai Phong a key port city, a destination for multinational groups, and a high-standard international tourism hub. He said Hai Phong needs to strive to become an education-training and health care center of the northern coastal region and a role model of modern urban area of Vietnam.
