At 10 a.m. of Friday, AirVisual announced Hanoi’s AQI at 158. The air quality is considered good if AQI is 0-50, average if AQI is 50-100, poor in 100-150, bad if 150-200, very bad if 200-300 and dangerous if 300-500.

City dwellers are therefore recommended to reduce outdoor activities, wear face masks regularly when going out to prevent PM2.5 fine dust, and strictly abide by social distancing regulations in crowded areas.

People are also advised to follow the Health Ministry’s 5K rules on the COVID-19 prevention and control: face mask, disinfection, social distancing, no gathering, and submitting health declaration.
